Also in the 1850 census, 1 page in front of the Eddys and two pages in front of the Nixons is Bellford and Catharine Daugherty, ages 70 and 58. This caught my attention because I've seen websites that claim that Margaret Nixon's maiden name is Daugherty. That, and two Belfords in the same town seems like more than just a coincidence. It's not a very common name, even in 1850. I'm guessing that these are Margaret's parents and that she named two of her kids after them.

A note about the Scribd boxes
Scribd is a very cool site and the ipaper boxes are great for quickly looking at posted documents, but the resolution isn't the greatest. It's just barely good enough to be legible. If, however, you click on the "More" tab and download the file you get a much better copy.
