About the Author
I am the grandson of Sarah and Eddy Martin. I have just started to get my feet wet in family history research and decided to keep my notes in a blog format.
While most of the information about people found here are already well-known within my family and on sites like familysearch.org, the original sources from which that information comes is not always clear. My goal here is to gather as many original sources as possible on ancestors that are already known. As I learn more about them, they become more than just names on an old piece of paper. Who knows, I may even stumble on a new find every now and then.

A note about the Scribd boxes
Scribd is a very cool site and the ipaper boxes are great for quickly looking at posted documents, but the resolution isn't the greatest. It's just barely good enough to be legible. If, however, you click on the "More" tab and download the file you get a much better copy.
