Nancy Sindledecker in the 1900 census

Here is Nancy Sindledecker widowed in the 1900 census. She is lodging with a William and Rebecca Weekly. Living with her is her son Edward W. Sindledecker. At first, I thought he was William and Rebecca's son. But he is listed after Nancy. Also, it says his mother was born in Ohio, which is where Nancy was born, while Rebecca was born in West Virginia. It is kind of interesting that she says she has 6 of 7 kids living. That's a little bit cryptic. Is she counting her step kids? If she is, then I think there should be more than 7. If she's only counting her biological children then there are a whole bunch of kids that I haven't accounted for yet.
